ItineraryForge is a web-based trip planning application that provides tools for creating itineraries, planning routes, generating packing lists, and managing travel budgets. All data is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB technology.

Use of Service

You agree to use ItineraryForge for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Use the service to transmit malicious code or harmful content

Local Data Storage

Your trip data is stored locally in your browser. You understand and agree that:

• You are responsible for backing up your data
• We cannot recover data lost due to browser clearing, device loss, or technical issues
• Data may be lost if you clear your browser cache or use private browsing mode
• We recommend exporting important trips using our PDF export feature

ItineraryForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

• We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content
• Weather forecasts, travel times, and cost estimates are approximations only
• Budget calculations are provided for planning purposes and should not be considered financial advice

Third-Party Services

ItineraryForge integrates with third-party services (Mapbox for maps, OpenWeather for weather data). These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ItineraryForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Important: While we strive to provide accurate information, travel planning involves inherent risks. Always verify critical information (bookings, weather, travel requirements) through official sources before making travel decisions.

User-Generated Content

Any content you create (itineraries, packing lists, notes) remains your property. By using the "Share" feature, you grant others access to view that specific content through the shared link.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of ItineraryForge at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms of service at any time. By continuing to use ItineraryForge after changes are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
