Draft a plan with AI

Get a first-pass day-by-day plan, then edit it in the builder. The draft is a suggestion to verify: AI can get places, distances and seasons wrong, and it does not know current opening hours, prices or entry rules.

Everything else a multi-day trip needs

An itinerary is the spine; the rest hangs off it. Each tool below works on its own and keeps its inputs on your device.

How to use the trip planner

  1. Set the frame. Name the trip and pick a start date; each day then shows its weekday and date.
  2. Rough it in. Load a template, ask the AI for a draft, or type your must-dos into the days they belong to.
  3. Group by area. Drag stops so each day stays in one part of town. The route planner helps order them.
  4. Check the facts. Confirm opening days, tickets and entry rules on official sites; add booking references as notes.
  5. Take it with you. Export to your calendar, save as PDF, or save the file to reopen on another device.

Questions

Is this trip planner free?

Yes. Every tool on ItineraryForge is free and needs no account. Your plan is saved in your own browser.

How do I rearrange my itinerary?

Grab the dotted handle on a stop and drag it to another time or another day. On a phone, press and drag the handle, or use the up and down arrows, which also move a stop across days.

Can I add my itinerary to Google Calendar or Apple Calendar?

Set a start date, then choose Calendar (.ics). Import the file into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook; each stop with a time becomes an event.

How do I save my itinerary as a PDF?

Choose Print / save as PDF and pick "Save as PDF" as the printer. The print layout hides buttons and keeps each day together.

Can I trust the AI itinerary?

Treat it as a starting sketch. It is labelled as a suggestion because AI can misplace sights, misjudge travel times and does not know current opening hours, prices or entry rules. Check each place on its official website.

Where is my plan stored?

Only in this browser, using localStorage. Nothing is uploaded unless you use the AI draft, which sends just the destination, number of days, pace and interests you typed.
